The purpose of this simulator is to estimate the rate dose that would be obtained to a certain distance of a source and the effect of the different shieldings that might be in use.
It is considered ideal conditions, a monoenergetic collimated beam of radiation and not very thick shieldings. Due to the fact, don't use it as reference.
To move the monitor, do click in it and, without giving up, move it horizontally. You can set the source activity (0.1-500 Ci), the material of the shielding, and its thickness (0.5-15 cm). To update the calculation with the new information, positionate the monitor or select the material.
